Mailbox regulations in accordance with the diagram below:

The support post should not be placed in the drainage ditch. If the berm is too narrow, the post should be placed on the backside of the drainage ditch.

Support arms longer than 4 feet should have angle supports which do not extend into unobstructed area which allow for snowplows.

The newspaper box should be attached to the support arm. This box should also not extend into the unobstructed area for snowplows.

Harborcreek Township will not repair and will not be responsible for any damage to mailboxes which are not installed to these specifications.

The Roads Department is performing a Mailbox Inspection Program

The Harborcreek Township Roads Department will be continuing a mailbox inspection
program to identify problems which could affect our snow plowing and your mail
delivery. Please make every effort to correct any structural or clearance problems with your mailbox.
Refer to the complete guide of mailbox regulations/specifications above.
Harborcreek Township will not be responsible for any damage to mailboxes receiving
deficiency notifications that have not been corrected.
